Our Team
Robert Morella, CPA/PFS
Partner, Founding Member
Robert Morella, CPA/PFS
Robert is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and partner in the accounting firm, Morella & Morella, LLC. Robert is an Investment Advisor Representative and managing partner of Apex Capital Management, LLC. In 1980 he graduated from the University of Southwestern Louisiana with a BS in Business Administration with a major in accounting. Robert is licensed as a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and is Series 66 registered.
Robert is a member of the tax and personal financial planning division of the AICPA and a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors.
When not working, he enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren, playing tennis, exercising, traveling and visiting art museums.
Stephen Morella, CPA/PFS, CFP®

Stephen Morella, CPA/PFS, CFP®
As a partner at Morella & Morella, LLC & a financial advisor with Apex Capital Management, LLC, Stephen is continuously working towards advancing his tax, financial planning and investment advisory knowledge to help his clients achieve their personal financial goals. On top of being a CPA, Stephen is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and holds the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation issued through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. With a passion for tax and financial planning, what motivates Stephen is providing clients with peace of mind by giving them a roadmap to financial success through comprehensive financial planning.
Stephen is a partner and founding member of Morella & Morella, LLC. Stephen and his father, Robert, formed Morella & Morella in 2024. Stephen has been practicing since 2019.
Stephen graduated from The University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL), where he was a long snapper for the Ragin’ Cajuns football team for five years and graduated with a BS in Accounting. When he is not advising, Stephen enjoys spending his time exercising in the gym, reading, hunting, and fishing in Louisiana’s great outdoors.
Samantha Viator

Samantha Viator
Samantha is a staff accountant at Morella & Morella, LLC. She is from New Iberia, Louisiana and moved to Lafayette for school. Samantha graduated from University of Louisiana at Lafayette in May of 2023 with a BS in Business Administration with a major in accounting and a minor in marketing. She is currently studying for her Master of Business Administration at ULL and is projected to graduate in the Fall of 2024. Upon graduation, Samantha will work towards obtaining her CPA license and other certifications. Outside of work, some of her hobbies and interests are traveling, baking, reading, fitness, and fashion.
Cinnamon Broussard
Office Manager
Cinnamon Broussard
Cinnamon Broussard is a 1991 graduate of the University of Southwestern Louisiana with a major in criminal justice. Cinnamon has over 30 years experience working in the public accounting industry and serves as the office manager and assists in the management of client relationships and service needs.
Outside of the office, Cinnamon enjoys running, beach vacations, and spending time with family. In addition, she is active in church groups including ACTS retreats, women’s ministry and married couples’ group.
Madeline Clouatre, MBA
Staff Accountant
Madeline Clouatre, MBA
Madeline is a staff accountant at Morella & Morella, LLC. She received a BS in Accounting and Master of Business Administration degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2020 and 2021 respectively. Her experience is in accounting and tax services. She is a native of Mandeville, Louisiana. Madeline is working to obtain her CPA license.
When not working, Madeline enjoys reading and spending time with her family and her dog, Woody.
